Or they're "very close."

All your coffee and contemplation has paid off, internet!

Ever since the teaser for Season 2 of “Stranger Things” went online, fans have been theorizing about where the show will go, and apparently some are spot-on!

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the “Stranger Things” creators, The Duffer Brothers, opened up about that teaser, which featured Season 2 episode titles.

Matt Duffer said, “Even if they aren’t the final chapter titles, everything in that teaser is major.” He continued, “Some of the fan theories online are amazing. Most are wrong, but I’ve read a few that are right or very close.”

His brother Ross chimed in, adding, “Some of these theories are elaborate and smart. They’re not crap. I love reading this stuff.”

Yup. You internet peeps are onto something.

The Duffer Brothers aren’t alone in their enthusiasm for fan theories. The kids from “Stranger Things” get excited about them, too. As a reminder, here are a few of the most popular Season 2 theories, some of which are probably “right or very close,” per the Duffer Brothers’ comments:

1. Season 2, Episode 6, ”The Pollywog,” is likely about that slug-thing Will coughed up.

This just makes sense because a polliwog or tadpole is what grows into a frog, and the slug-thing Will coughed up could be the monster’s offspring.

2. Eleven is the monster.

At one point, Eleven says, “I am the monster,” so ...

3. Will might turn evil.

Will spent a lot of time in the Upside Down. Even Noah Schnapp, the actor who plays Will, has said he thinks this is a possibility.

4. Season 2, Episode 3, “The Pumpkin Patch,” is about those eggs from the Upside Down.
