Taylor Swift's BFF Abigail Anderson Receives Death Threats Over 'Prayers' For North West

"I pray that she will understand ‘adultery and b***hes’ are just daddy’s form of art."

There’s Taylor Swift’s squad and then there’s Abigail Anderson. She’s the redheaded girl Swift sat down next to in English class when she was just 15. Remember? They both laughed at the other girls who thought they were so cool.

As made clear by this week’s “Mean Girls: Millennial Edition” antics, absolutely nobody has put high school behind them. After Kim Kardashian released footage of Swift seemingly approving Kanye West’s controversial song “Famous,” her BFF Abigail took to social media to defend the singer by tweeting a series of “prayers” targeting Kimye’s young daughter, North West.

Apparently, she’s worried North will internalize the misogynist messaging of her father’s songs, a fate, Anderson tweeted, she wishes to spare her from. After receiving death threats, her tweets have since been deleted, but according to Us Weekly, she wrote:

“Lord, hear my prayers. … I pray God helps your daughter understand, that despite how many times she’ll hear daddy reference all women as ‘bitches,’ she isn’t one ... I pray she understands her father actually IS faithful to her mother, despite all the adulterous comments she will hear her father making. … I pray that she will understand ‘adultery and bitches’ are just daddy’s form of art and not to worry because not every man thinks like him. … Lastly, I pray for forgiveness. May God forgive you & your wife for doing to others the very things you pray are NEVER done to your daughter.”

Although Anderson says that she supports her best friend through thick and Kanye, she drew the line at seeing death threats on her Twitter mentions.

“Guys...I will always stand by my best friend. There’s no point in fighting over than. [sic] #BlessIt,” Anderson continued. “For the record, I usually delete my tweets once the death threats start rolling in...nothing more or less than that. #MovingOn

Anderson makes frequent appearances with Swift on social media, most recently popping up at the singer’s epic 4th of July bash. Swift also attended a celebration for Anderson’s engagement, which she announced in early July.

Brace yourself for that wedding speech.
