The Florida Fallen Heroes Foundation is very influential in Northeast Florida. The president of the foundation is Dave Seamans, a retired Navy veteran. Dave is the father of Timothy Seamans who died August 18, 2005, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Timothy joined the U.S. Army, where he earned the rank of Private First Class and was stationed out of Fort Stewart, Georgia. He served proudly with the 3rd Infantry Calvary Division. For his first overseas deployment Timothy was stationed at Forward Operating Base Brassfield-Mora in the deadly Sunni Triangle, in conditions, some say were the worst in Iraq. His team was assigned to protect the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, one of the toughest jobs in the military.

Timothy’s unit reports that Timothy took pride in his dangerous job. He went out on his own to prepare his truck for missions and he studied constantly to improve his battle skills. He eventually won the platoon’s nomination for Soldier of the Month.

Tech From Vets is a proud sponsor of this influential organization in Northeast Florida. For more information and ways you can help, please visit the Florida Fallen Heroes website or contact Dave at (904) 535-0747.
