Trevor Noah Finds Something To Admire About Donald Trump

"Even the rainforest is like, 'Hey, at least he's honest!'"

Donald Trump’s choice of Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his secretary of state has environmentalists worried, but it helped Trevor Noah realize there’s one thing he admires about the president-elect: No subtlety whatsoever.

“[Trump] doesn’t do subtext,” Noah explained on Tuesday’s “Daily Show.” “Instead of acting like oil is an added bonus of being overseas, why not let the No. 1 oil executive run your foreign policy?”

Noah said Trump’s decision to “cut out the middleman” is “a nice change of pace” for America: “Even the rainforest is like, ‘Hey, at least he’s honest!’”
