Trevor Noah: 100 Days In, Trump Now Smells Like 'Nepotism And Steak Sauce'

And he's having serious trouble getting his wall built.

Just 100 days into his presidency, Donald Trump has lost that “new president smell” and now he smells like “nepotism and steak sauce,” Trevor Noah said on Monday night.

“The Daily Show” host contrasted Trump’s speech in Pennsylvania marking his 100 days in office with one of his rally speeches from the campaign, and it was tough to tell them apart. Trump still bellowed “Make America great again,” still promised to build the wall and still urged fans to remove protesters (“Get ‘em out of here.”).

Over the weekend, Congressional negotiators also hammered out a bipartisan agreement on a spending package to keep the federal government funded through the end of the current fiscal year on Sept. 30, and early reports indicated that the budget did not include money for a border wall.

If Trump wants to get his wall built, he’s “either going to have to launch a Kickstarter or go on ‘Shark Tank’” to raise funds, which would be “really humiliating because then he’d have to ask for money from real billionaires,” Noah said.
