Man Accused Of Gunning Down 4 On D.C. Street

A 51-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly wounding four people in a shooting outside a D.C. shoe store.

Victor Leon Conley is charged with four counts of assault with intent to kill, CBS DC reports. Police say Conley opened fire outside a Payless store in the Northeast section and hit three men -- ages 41, 57, and 61 -- and a 64-year-old woman with gunfire.

Two of the victims were seriously injured, Police Chief Cathy Lanier told the network. According to the Washington Post, none of the injuries ajppears life-threatening.

Officials said Wednesday that the shooting did not appear to be random, but police have not said if any of the victims were targets either, according to the Post.
