While volunteering during the cleanup of 9/11, 8,000 pounds of steel crushed John Feal's foot. He ended up starting the FealGood Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting injured first responders. The organization has passed 3 bills in Congress, raised over $1.3 million for injured 9/11 volunteers, and over $100,000 for Hurricane Sandy.
