It is with great pleasure and pride that I announce the recent release of The Kindness Diaries on Netflix!

A few years ago, I embarked on an around the world journey relying solely on the kindness of strangers. No money, no food and no place to stay. As if this wasn’t crazy enough I did this on a vintage yellow motorbike with a sidecar called Kindness One (sort of like Air Force One but kinder!). During this adventure, I discovered that people are so open to helping those in need, all one has to do is open your heart. For example, in Pittsburgh, I met a homeless man named Tony who had nothing but a bag of clothes. He took me in, fed me, gave me a place to stay and protected me through the night. The experience will live with me forever. If a man with nothing could give so much from his heart how could I ever repay him? You’ll have to watch the show to find out!

Tony is only one example of the people who helped me on my journey. He also exemplifies the overall goal of the show, that up close there is enough good, enough love and enough pure kindness to make the word go round. Despite the negativity that bombards us everyday, I’m here to tell you I witnessed the greatness of humanity first hand. Hopefully, the show will serve as a small beacon of hope, a small light at the end of a dark tunnel. A light that if we all reach for together can overpower the darkness in the world.

My hope is that when you watch the show it will inspire you to travel both externally and internally. That you go out and help those in need and that when a random stranger in a yellow motorbike passes you by you smile and wave.
