Whitney Cummings Didn't Get A Face-Lift, She Just Gained Some Weight

Whitney Cummings appeared on NBC's "Today" show on Monday looking a little bit different than she usually does.

When the show's hosts, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, told Cummings they hardly recognized her, she responded, "Well, I did get a new face," and joked, "I bought it on eBay."

Kidding aside, the 32-year-old revealed the real reason her appearance has changed.

"I did this weird thing that nobody likes to do anymore where I gained weight. I gained like 25 lbs., which I think I needed to. I was way too skinny before," she said, adding, "Here's the thing: When you're on television, you get confused. I looked like I was passing away ... and I put on, like 20 lbs. I think it filled out ... People think I got a face-lift."

Kotb chimed in, saying, "Yeah! That's what we thought."

The comic continued, "I feel like all the advice to girls nowadays is 'Lose weight! Lose weight!' They say you have to pick your ass or your face and I'm picking my face, but I hope somebody else picks the other one!"

And as for that new face? Well, Cummings did get one, in the form of a skincare machine she bought online called NuFace, which she thinks "looks like a sex toy."
