WILLIAMSBURG -- A sophomore at the College of William & Mary was found dead at Lake Matoaka Friday morning, the result of an apparent suicide.
In a message to the campus, Ginger Ambler, vice president for Student Affairs, said a student found the body Whitney L. Mayer at the lake and notified campus police.
