Hillary is going be President! Trump is already offering excuses for his impending defeat and GOP unrest took some interesting turns today! As Humanity rights itself over the coming years we will look back on an antiquated idea called the “glass ceiling” and wonder just how something so daft came to pass or hold sway!

I look eagerly forward to this new world where gender will be incidental to opportunity and accomplishment!

Maternal perspectives have always moved masses! After all the power mongering, the turf wars, and the land grabs the world is grounded by the simple question: why does anyone do any of it? It is for our kids and their future that we build or amass anything. The most potent thread of messages (albeit used for political reach) in the last few weeks has been around how we might construct a nation or a world for our children. The most powerful speeches

and resumes have been about mothers, nurturers, loving care for kids and the need to leave them an even better world!

Between Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama we have seen a somewhat divided Democratic party come together and roar in unison! Our first female presidential candidate has been nominated. One well known glass ceiling is shattered and the momentum of it is only going to gather even further to push Mrs. Clinton into office! The female half of America will not deny themselves this next victory! Already Meg Whitman has crossed over and pledged her support for Clinton. Most American women will follow! Another large part of America; the men who love, respect, and trust the notion of parenthood and motherhood will firmly get behind Hillary and that will ensure a landslide victory!

This is a tsunami about to hit only it’s first crest! Henceforth, a wave of victories for women and more shattered glass ceilings shall ensue as three very capable women lead three powerful nations of the world. Who does not want to be a fly on the wall of a meeting between Hillary Clinton, Angela Merkel, and Theresa May? They will not bump chests like powermongers anticipating a hegemony might. They will probably smile and quietly go about resetting the world to much more humanitarian principles! What will the impact of having women leading such global powers be? Will climate change and environmental conservation receive a much overdue shot in the arm? Will they find equitable solutions for warring brothers and nations? Will they ensure the research that sustains our future is properly supported? Under their auspices will other women find the courage and support to carve out a place of their own choice in the order of the world? The world has been allegedly flat for a while now but will global citizenship become actually possible under these leaders?

This wave will not be an uprising. It will instead be a matter of fact collection of dues! Women are not going to fight merely for suffrage or the right to work at certain jobs or even gripe about being discriminated against professionally.

They are culturally and from infancy coached to accomplish their ends via unassertive artifice and a nurturing point of view rather than aggression. They will discontinue asking for their place at the table. They will artfully and undeniably insert themselves where they want and need to be for society. I know women can and will do this with renewed vigor having watched Hillary come to power! I hope they do!

Some work is still required to get there. While intent is grand and most needed, abilities still need to be built. To be relevant in an ever more technologically driven world, women must develop skills in those spaces! Girls are deflected away from many areas in childhood leaving them at a disadvantage later in life. For those that somehow manage to not be deflected support systems and opportunity funnels are woefully inadequate compared to those for boys and men. I see coming a huge surge in support for efforts that educate and support women in STEM, in building careers, in taking on leadership roles. A K-Leadership corridor of partnered support is being built by the likes of Science Club For Girls, Girls Inc, Girls Who Code (with the help of Intel, Google, Facebook etc), National Center For Women & Information Technology , Innovation Women, Women In the Board Room and others. They will likely become power players in this new dynamic and produce leaders of great caliber. Already it is anticipated that very soon 1 in 5 highly effective entrepreneurs and founders will be women! Perhaps in the near future that will become 1 in 2.

In this world to come where women are acknowledged on all fronts as equal, will women fall prey to the temptations of power? Will women never be rogues or demagogues? Undoubtedly there will be some who might go that way: after all they are human! However, the innately caring perspective of women enables them to see more than their own point of view. This will lead us to a better world even if their half of humanity starts to become very guileful. Women are indeed more empathetic and no matter how much power they gather unto themselves most of them will still be better leaders than a lot of men.

Once the last vestiges of said glass ceiling disappear and men and women assume parts in a global setting on equal footing, perhaps the world will move towards peacefulness, eradicate poverty, make advances that will sustain humanity in the future, and erase unnecessary boundaries and conflict!
