The #WomenStopTrumpParty Is The Hashtag We Desperately Needed

Celebrating Trump's demise one feminist meme at a time.

The Donald Trump candidacy is downright disturbing.

More and more women have come forward with claims that they’ve been groped by GOP nominee Donald Trump. The allegations come just after a recording was released in which Trump can be heard boasting he can sexually assault women at will because of his fame.

Now, women on Twitter have created a hashtag, #WomenStopTrumpParty, to ensure that this alleged sexual assailant does not become president.

The tweets vary in nature, from encouraging women to go out and vote (for Hillary, not Trump) to simply showing their support for women in general.

It’s a feel-good hashtag for women, by (mostly) women.

These lady power tweets renew our faith in humanity.

Yes, women. YES! To all of you, we have this to say:

Now, we wait for November 8th.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
