Yes, Yes, Yes! Destiny's Child's First Single Came Out 19 Years Ago This Week

It was called "No, No, No."

It’s hard to remember a time without our savior Beyoncé Knowles and her disciples Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, combining their powers to create Destiny’s Child. But we once existed without them ― a land before time known as “the early to mid-‘90s.”

We won’t dwell on what life was like sans this pop/R&B music group. Instead, we’ll choose to remember the day they came into our lives: Nov. 11, 1997. On this historic day, Destiny’s Child’s first single, “No No No,” hit the airwaves. (Williams was not part of the original group; in her place were members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett.)

The group took to social media Friday to remember their big day and it’s got us all like “Yes Yes Yes:”
