Zayn Malik And Louis Tomlinson Have Apparently Reconciled

As if One Direction’s split wasn’t already devastating enough for fans of the pop fivesome (that became a foursome after Zayn Malik’s exit), let’s not forget the epic Twitter fight Malik and Louis Tomlinson got into over a year ago.

Here’s a brief refresher. It all started with this tweet by producer Naughty Boy, and boy, did it get ugly.

Well, 1D fans can finally rest easy. It appears the former bandmates have finally reconciled, according to a radio interview Tomlinson did for Sirius XM.

When asked about his relationship with Malik he said:

“We’ve got to a point now where, you know, we can just really be happy for each other.”

He even gushed about the “Pillowtalk” singer’s solo music career, adding “His first song is an absolute smash.”

It looks like any bad blood is behind them, as Malik recently tweeted his support for his bandmate after the death of Tomlinson’s mother, Johannah Deakin, from leukemia in December of last year.

We can’t help but wonder if their sweet reconciliation means there’s a chance for a 1D reunion in the future.

We sure hope so!
