Everything is shrinking these days, worth less, diminished. A million bucks used to be worth, well, a million bucks. Today we pay more and get less. We live larger but feel smaller. We must face facts, my friends: Less is less.
Now, with belts tightened and the notion of a nest egg tantamount to some psychotic, hallucinatory delusion, let us pause to think of how inflation might affect some of the numbers we have associated with some of our cherished favorites.

Oops, that should have been in the year 2524. Anyway, since there's a good chance that the future for us will hold deflation rather than inflation, maybe we should be looking forward to films like The Dirty Baker's Dozen.
