A Strong Woman's Confidence Manifesto

I will move forward in my life with confidence. The painful experiences and hurts will no longer define who I am or what I am going to accomplish from here forward. Today is the beginning of the rest of my amazing life, and I intend to live it with conviction, purpose, love, and joy.

I vow to move forward in my life with fearlessness and grace.

I will handle life's trials with acknowledgement and logical thinking, then I will move through the emotions. I will no longer stuff down pain and keep a smile on my face when I am crumbling inside. I will protect, nurture, and love myself. I will hold on to the knowledge that I am a child of God, and the cruel words and deeds of others will not chip away at the knowing I have that I am meant to be a beacon of light and love, just as we all are.

After life's attacks and suffering, I vow to move the negative energy through my body. I will no longer absorb the hurt, anger, and fury into my cellular makeup. I will run, talk, meditate, get massages, and do energy work until the rage and pain are gone. I will no longer let my body be an absorbing mechanism or dumping ground for the negativity of others. I protect the health of the temple of my body.

I will allow myself to be open and vulnerable, no longer afraid of opening myself up to attack. I am firmly grounded in who I am and where I am going. The most painful years of my life have shown me that my spirit is infallible. I am a phoenix that will rise over and over from any fire I encounter. I want to show others their resilience and help them feel their own inner strength.

I will no longer accept society's beliefs about my body. My body is powerful and has birthed and nursed three healthy and amazing humans to life. My womanly curves mean that not only have I served as a conduit for life, but also that I enjoy life. I exercise and feed my body whole and healthy foods, but I also savor delicious meals and wine with friends. My lack of perfection, according to societal norms, is entirely perfect. I embrace my body from now on with confidence, acceptance, and love. I will wear a bikini and be proud of the roundness of my belly as it's changed with motherhood.

I will no longer compare myself with others.

I honor other women for their natural gifts as well as those they have worked so hard for. The successes of others in no way diminish me or my potential, in fact, they serve to inspire me and help lead the way for us all to reach for our greatest possibilities. When others succeed, my heart sings.

I will be confident in my work. I know how hard I work and the gifts I was born with. I will no longer work twice as hard as my male counterparts to prove my worth. I will embody the confidence and innate knowledge that I was born with and know that I have useful and intelligent contributions. I no longer accept the belief that I can only be smart in one way and I will embrace and nurture both my left and right brain intelligence. I am going to move forward as a leader now that I am older and wiser and share my experiences to inspire and guide those younger than me. I will seek out the mentorship of women who are and have been where I want to go. I will become an open conduit to accept and learn, fully embracing how much I have to learn without it diminishing who I am.

I will speak with confidence and articulation. I don't accept the words I've heard that suggest I am not smart... that I cannot speak clearly... that I am worthless. Those words and the people who say them are no longer welcome in my life. I will no longer shrink myself to make others more comfortable.

I will treat all I meet with love, respect, and an openness that encourages them to live their greatness. I will take care of my body, mind, and spirit so that my inner flame can shine brightly and light the flames of other women. My love comes from an eternal source and I do not need to conserve. There is enough for everyone.

I will move forward in my life with confidence. The painful experiences and hurts will no longer define who I am or what I am going to accomplish from here forward. Today is the beginning of the rest of my amazing life, and I intend to live it with conviction, purpose, love, and joy.
