March 18, 2008 (New York City): Barack Obama may have Oprah Winfrey pulling in big audiences to his fundraisers, but now Hillary Clinton's gotten into the act. British-knighted songwriter and Grammy-winning musician Elton John will host "Elton and Hillary," an evening of music and politics, at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Proceeds will go to the Hillary Clinton For President campaign.

Event tickets go on sale tomorrow, March 19, and you can call (212) 213-3717 to order yours. Prices start at $125 for seats in the mezzanine and $250 for the orchestra, going all the way up to $2,300.

''I'm not a politician, but I believe in the work that Hillary Clinton does,'' said the Grammy-award winning musician in a statement released by the Clinton campaign today. This will be Elton John's first solo appearance in eight years.

According to Aceshowbiz.com, those who donate more than $10,000 will get a chance to meet Elton, Hillary and Bill in a private session. (But I thought FEC rules say you can only donate $2,300 a person?) Radio City holds 6,000 seats; when filled that equals at LEAST a few million dollars of campaign cash.

Maybe Elton can coax Hillary into singing a duet?
