For my last post of the week, enjoy this fun series of pictures from French photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Meet Hermione with her extravagant hats.....
For the first time in France, Jean-Baptiste Mondino presents, in exclusivity at the Milk Factory, a series of "Cow" portraits. After having covered the walls of the Hudson Hotel in New York, these portraits are on display in a Parisian gallery.
Wearing the most exquisite couture hats and headgears from famous milliners, "Her Gracious Majesty" Hermione is definitely the star of Paris Fashion Week.
Known for his music videos and fashion spreads, Jean-Baptiste Mondino's wildly progressive photographs and videos have changed the strategies of the rock, pop and fashion industry, making him one of the most influential, and admired photographers of our time. He has exhibited at galleries internationally, including the Maison Europeene de la photography (MEP), Paris; 798 Space, Beijing, and many more.
Jean-Baptiste Mondino lives and works in Paris.
OH LA VACHE! is currently on exhibit at the Milk Factory, and features 21 photographs from Jean-Baptiste Mondino, made originally for the Hudson Hotel (designed by friend Philippe Starck).
A huge bravo to our favorite model who so patiently stood in the fields for the shoot. Her final comment: "Still happy that the photographer didn't try to pick me up... although....."
