With apps like Kimoji, Jamoji, and Justmoji coming out daily, it seems like everyone is trying to hop on the emoji train.

And the train shows no signs of slowing down. A new SaaS tooled named Feedback Emoji just launched to help websites receive feedback using, you guessed it, emojis.

I wondered, besides the trendiness, why use emojis for feedback?

Product Manager Abe Storey said, "Emojis are a ubiquitous medium for expressing how we feel. They're the perfect language for companies to capture user feedback without being intrusive. How often do you enjoy telling a website what you're thinking? Feedback Emoji makes giving feedback fun for users - and getting it easy for companies."

Personally, I wish I could rate my Uber drivers with emojis.

After you sign up, the service prompts you to create a campaign. Using the web based dashboard, you're able to write a question and select the emoji based answers. There's also an option for a follow up question that lets a user further explain their position.

After signing up and creating a campaign, the site generates a JavaScript snippet. Once you add the script to your site, Feedback Emoji is live and you can start getting feedback immediately. It's actually that simple.

The analytics dashboard is well designed, and the simplicity of the emoji responses makes it easy to immediately understand the feedback.

When asked about its "Free Forever" policy, Storey stated, "Right now, it's free for everyone, no matter your scale. Of course at one point we may add premium features or tiers. With that said, we're committed to always offering a powerful free tier because when all websites are able to capture user feedback, the web becomes a better place for everyone."

Feedback Emoji is a part of a larger movement from Neon Roots, an LA based digital agency, to create tools for product owners across the web. Previously, they released Arbor, which helps creators manage potential product features.

"Real time feedback is a vital part of creating and iterating on digital products," said Ben Lee, Co-Founder and CEO of Neon Roots. "It's something we constantly stress with our clients. Feedback Emoji makes this effortless. We're excited to keep creating tools to help companies in a constantly changing digital environment."
