Everyone loves a little extra legroom when flying, and the most legroom of all in economy class comes with those coveted exit row seats. But who gets to sit in them? A long, long time ago anyone could. It was luck of the draw, first come first served, and it was free. Yes, free! Not so much anymore. You either have to achieve "status" in the airline's frequent flyer program, or pay for the privilege, or be active duty military. All airlines have slightly different rules, so we've gathered them in this chart.
