God Is Talking To Us -- 3 Steps To Hear What S/He's Saying

There's so much more to what's going on in our world outside of the latest in politics, sports, and even fair housing. The so much more I am talking about has to do with you and Spirit.

Last week I received a message from Spirit that God wants a relationship with each of us. (Here's the full message.) I've been thinking about that relationship, how to make it happen and how to keep it going throughout the day, too.

Here are three steps to touch base with your inner self, the essence of life -- what I believe is God. (Feel free to insert universe, life-force, chi, All That Is, etc.)

1. Sit quietly with no distractions, maybe only the sound of a fan running in the next room or a bird calling from outside.

2. Ask your inner self, or higher self, what it needs to feel whole.

3. Listen and Record the answer.

I just did this. Here's my message:

Get outside where you flourish. Yes, there is work to be done, but it gets done so much easier after you've fed your aura, your energy, with fresh molecules that you receive through movement.

Ugh! Isn't that just like my Higher Self! That's the very thing I've been avoiding. I've actually felt the push all morning to get outside, but I've been fighting it in order to accomplish some things on my to do list. Important things! Things that have a deadline attached. So I've been telling myself.

Well, now I come to a fourth step I need to address. And it's all yours and mine. Spirit is not directly involved in this one: Will I act on the guidance? Will I put down the work and go outside for a walk? Will you act on the message you get?
