Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi, who has said her mother told her to "never trust a skinny chef" has said she limits her off-screen eating when taping the Bravo show. But for cookbook author and food historian Francine Segan, that's not possible. She's always giving cooking demonstrations, walking tours or tastings for the 92Y and others.
But by the time she reached her 50s, realized she had to something, so she created her own weight loss "ingredient list" that changed the way she felt about exercise, eating, back pain and plastic surgery.
