Gregory Daurer is one of the first to submit photos from the Mile-High city in waiting. Sign up here to join the OffTheBus Democratic Convention Coverage Team. Everyone is welcome to join -- delegates, superdelegates, elected officials, attendees, volunteers, journalists, local residents, activists, tourists... We're looking for people to blog about their experiences in Denver, to share audio, video and photos, and, at times, relay to our journalists what's happening around town and at the convention.

Concerned1,
I get chills too. I am so excited, and can't wait.
Why will there be a storm? The angry supporters of the former candidate and the former candidate and her husband got everything they could have possibly wanted, and more. Pathetic.
You missed the Gitmo on the Platte in your photo essay, where fellow citizens will be rended for exercising their freedom of speech outside of the "Freedom of Speech Zone", which is way past section ZZ on the edge of the parking lot.
Which is rather funny, since the Freedom of Speech Zone use to be the whole country, and Democrats were traditionally the defenders of civil liberties. Funny how things change.
i e-mailed the DNC to complain about just that. Dems are supposed to dissent! e-mail & call!
p.s. i am a fervent obama supporter, but as a constitutional law expert, he should demand freedom for dissenters.
Every one of these streets will be filled with Obama supporters. The excitement will be incredible. I get chills writing this.
