Will there be enough swine flu vaccine?

Currently we ration health care in the U.S. based on job status, wealth, even race. I think swine flue vaccines should be auto-rationed based on a cultural divide that is unmitigated by modern science and seen clearly in today's headlines.

Regarding swine flu, there's a need for political litmus test, if ever there was one. Forget gun control, global warming, abortion or even school prayer. The political/cultural litmus test of 2009 should be swine flu vaccine. For all those who do not believe in government-controlled health care, Just Say No. After all, this vaccine is science-based medicine, led by those pernicious government bureaucrats. The federal Institutes of Health have gathered the flu germs on which the profit-making drug companies must now depend to make their vaccines. Then the feds will again monitor the vaccines before they can actually be sold. Big Brother is definitely in the flu business big-time. You get this shot, you may as well swear fealty to stem cell research, late term abortion and even, heavens, AIDS research. Draw the line. Just Say No.

So, Tea-Baggers, just say no when vaccine touts come around wanting you to get inoculated. Protect your kids. And keep out of those contrails across the sky while you're at it. And all you shills for market-driven health care, don't get this shot. Perhaps health insurance profiteers should order their employees to stay away from this government-riven vaccine plan. It would weaken your arguments against our government putting its slimy hands on your purity and precious bodily fluids, not to mention your very privacy. You have the right to the flu, so exercise it, please. Lobby your friends to avoid this government-recommended vaccine. After all, if this flu is good enough for swine, it outta be good enough for everybody, right? And how do we know swine flu isn't some government plot like global warming so Obama can seize your right to not get a shot?

Most importantly, all the politicians and their staffs working so hard to prevent a public option for Americans who need health care: Just Say No. If you support this kind of government-controlled vaccine censorship, next thing you know they'll want to control smoking, hand-guns, target practice, drunk driving, glue snorting and all manner of other American past-times. Draw the line. No socialized vaccines, no socialized medical care, Just Say No. Besides, I hear prayer is a great preventive measure for all manner of ailments.

Evidence that there is swine flu doesn't exist. The tests are completley inaccurate and the symptoms overlape with every imaginable symptom from coughing to fatigue.

The CDC admitts the test error rate is in the 40 to 60% rate. A huge test error rate invalidates a test because there can be no evidence that any results are right, especially positives.

The improved tests use PCR dna which are worse because they have no viral isolation to use as a gold standard. They are falsely claimed to be 90% accurate by Roche labs, the maker of one of the 2 dubious flu drugs who also makes the test. A test that claims to sequence dna if accurate can't have a 10% inaccurate rate. At $100 a test why worry about facts ?

The the non existent Swine flu behaviour is best illustrated by what it doesn't do. It doesn't make anyone sick. The pandemic has hardly any serious illness's. . Diagnosis is done by symptoms which are common and ordinary and typically slight and have nothing to do with flu. Rarely are tests used and when they are they are without scientific validity.

Of the actual less than 600 deaths in 5 months in the US falsely attributed to Swine flu
( ordinary flu has 36,000 Plus deaths a year ) everyone had other Serious illnesses. No Swine flu needed.

Ten years ago progressives had a heightened awareness of corporate corruption, and this awareness reached its zenith during the Bush administration. But the horrors of Bush caused progressives to forget just how bad the Clinton administration was for many of our most important issues.

Just because there has been a change in parties doesn't mean everything is OK. Big money and the hunger for profits don't usually translate into the best treatment of the common human being. We should be very suspicious of anything that will translate into big profits for pharma.

I have only taken flu vaccines on two occasions since the seventies, and usually don't get the flu. I see plenty of people who have been vaccinated get sick anyway. So what's the difference?

ABSOLUTELY! The "W.H.O." has already declared this a stage 6 Pandemic? How would the citizens of this country feel if they were TOLD they HAD to take the shot...ie "Manditory Vaccinations"? This COULD happen. It IS a possibility. Under a "Manditory Vaccination" order, citizens (CURRENTLY)have only 2 choices. A)Accept the injection or .......B)be confined to a holding facility/jail. Is it appropriate to write a funny column about a disease that has now killed more in the U.S. than in any other country in the world? If we had protected our citizens with some travel restrictions to and from Mexico and not let this disease spread, perhaps 6,000 of us would not have been hospitalized.

Maybe it's just me but i think there ,might be an implied subtext here about the complicity of the big pharm Cos in the "architecture" of this pandemic.
And it does not always pay to react with knee jerk scorn simply because such a claim seems fantastic and/or conflicts wildly with our neat corporate mass-media driven world view.

Fact is there is huge sums of money being made here and jumping on the bandwagon may well be playing right into their game...perhaps im wrong here but there is many people out there who are casting such aspersions and the only place you can read this stuff is on the web (you wont hear about it via the corporate media)....

I for one am not totally convinced that these companies have our best interests at heart and for that matter i'm not even convinced that what we are being told about the effectiveness, safety and toxicity of these immunizations is in fact correct.
My guess is its all just a well timed media storm designed to co-inside with a new product lauch and in the process whipping up enough fear to really pump up demand.
Infact i would not be at all surprised if the vaccines kill more people than the virus itself.
