For those, like me, who may have thought we had finally understood the extent of FEMA's fecklessness, today's T-P brings news of a new frontier crossed. The agency which couldn't find, bring and install trailers nearly quickly enough to house all those made homeless by the flooding of the New Orleans region now doesn't seem able to respond to those homeowners who have fixed up their houses, moved back in, and now want the trailers removed, before they become a safety hazard in a hurricane. The only reason alluded to in the article: the contracts for installing the trailers went to different companies than the contracts for removing them.
