By now, we are all probably aware of the notorious GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) that inhabit most junk food and processed products in our grocery stores. These organisms are unnatural and can be both toxic and allergenic to the body. Who wants to set that down on the dinner table each night? Yet, with multiple efforts in effect to ban GMOs from our foods, namely NonGMOProject.org, the availability of junk-free products is growing daily. More and more brands are proudly bearing the non-GMO label in support of healthy and safe products. As this campaign moves forward, its an exciting time to head to your grocery store and scour the shelves for the best non-GMO products. Luckily, I've done some of the work for you by discovering a way to build an entire day's meals around the wonderful non-GMO foods on the market. With these meal options, you'll have no excuse not to support the campaign and feed yourself well!

Start the morning on a great note by grabbing a Gnu FiberLove bar, which provides almost half of your daily fiber intake, or sit down to a hot bowl of steel cut oatmeal with Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro stirred in for a protein boost. Once lunchtime hits, opt for a grilled chicken salad and or toss The Good Bean's roasted chickpeas on top for added crunch and protein. Later on, replace that pesky seven-serving bag of trail mix, and instead munch on Enjoy Life's Fruit and Seed Mix. It's both portion controlled and completely allergen friendly.

Prepare a bowl of tortilla soup or veggie chili for dinner, crunching Way Better Sprouted Black Bean chips on top. Don't fret, dessert can be GMO-free, too! Unreal's "The Double Ones" Peanut Butter Cups are ideal for a chocolatey dessert. Another option is freezing a Stonyfield yogurt and sprinkling Love Crunch Dark Chocolate Macaroon Granola on top for a luxurious treat. No matter how you fuel up on food during the day, these meal examples prove just how accessible non-GMO products are becoming. You won't need to sacrifice your favorite snack foods That's definitely something to chew on.
