While we live in a very modern world, with plenty of opportunities and open doors for all types of people, women continue to earn less than men. From Yemen to Ireland, gender pay discrimination still exists, no matter which way you look at it.

This infographic, compiled by MedReps.com, a job board which gives members access to the most sought after medical sales jobs and pharmaceutical sales jobs on the Web, shows the gender pay gap across the board. Some points to note include:

  • The United States is ranked 22nd in the world in terms of gender gap
  • Female doctors earn an average of56,000 less each year than male doctors
  • After 10 years or more in the job market, the median male MBA graduate earned about242,000; the median female earned just146,000
