Great. Just great. Now I am totally craving spring rolls. Looks like I'm stopping by the Asian market on the way home ...

Site bookmarked - I'll do some scrolling later tonight. Thanks!

We make spring rolls and hummus at home with some regularity - but I've never made hummus without Tahini - not sure I would like it that way. We usually make it with roasted red peppers - a nice and fairly common variation of it.

Hmmm ... maybe I'll make the spring rolls tonight - I have everything I need ....

Hi Trittydi - hope you did make the spring rolls, and that you loved 'em just as much as we do. And well, many people are on the fence with the tahini/no tahini in Hummus. We like it both ways!

Interesting recipes. I've heard of hummus without sesame tahini before but it's not as good.

The best recipe for hummus that I've found is this one:

I have Lebanese-American friends who swear that this hummus is as good as their mothers'.

This is very similar to what I make. The only difference is I have never tried adding parsley before (I'll certainly try it now) - and we always add roasted red pepper, which we roast ourselves whenever we can. The canned versions simply don't have the same lovely flavor.

The parsley is just for garnish but I suppose you could add it to the hummus when you blend it in the food processor if you'd like to try it that way.

These look yummy. I love these little gatherings of recipes from different sources.

I just wanted to see if there might be a way to fix an issue I have with these recipe articles that have slides, and a link to the recipe. Once you've gone on to the next slide, however, if you go back, either by clicking on the slides at the bottom, or using my browser back button, you can't get the recipe link, only the slide. The only way I've seen to get the recipe link is to start over from the link on the food page. [I know, everybody's gotta complain, right? :) ]
