This is a wedding like you've never seen.

Anita & Abraham met in the spring of 2013 at an Asperger's support group. They were friends for over a year before beginning their romantic relationship, and faced extreme obstacles to develop their relationship. The happy couple took the next step despite all doubts and got married!

When Anita and Abraham learned of Love & Autism: A Conference with Heart, they knew that they wanted to have their wedding at the conference. This beautiful life event will be truly awe-inspiring. Their goal is to have as many elements of the wedding led by individuals on the spectrum, including the toast (Temple Grandin), the Officiant (Dr. Stephen Shore), the videographer (Inclusion Films), flower girls and ringbearers, musicians and more. They have affectionately called the group the "I Do Crew!"

The reason for this is they felt often individuals on the spectrum are often excluded from celebratory events such as weddings. Anita herself had never been invited to one, and they wanted to change the perceptions of society about those with autism and create an inclusive event for all!
