Arianna discussed the European economic crisis in an interview with Facebook Live on Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

"One of the most important things is to make sure that we don't fall into assumption that we can solve the Greek crisis or the European crisis simply by cutting, simply through austerity measures," she said.

Arianna explained that growth is also needed to remedy the economic issues at hand.

"Without growth we're going to continue to have unemployment levels, especially among the young that are not sustainable," she said. "When I go to Greece, and I do go every year, there are so many amazing resources--human resources, natural resources--we need to prioritize tapping into them because that's where growth and solutions will come from."
