It's amazing to me that so many of these pundits who want to ask a lot of stupid questions don't just ask her what makes her think she is qualified. She doesn't strike me as presidential. She doesn't have ideas that are smart. And I'll never forget that first snarky speech I heard her make at the convention. All that "pallin' around with terrorists" stuff just made her look mean and misinformed. If I were her, I wouldn't think I were qualified, so as you say, she is wasting her time. And ours.
Nonpartay: It's amazing to me that so many of these pundits
It is important because this was not an election. This was nothing less than a slap in the face of the majority of his nation by Aminijob. He has succeeded in sending a message to the world, that he does not care what anyone thinks, that he does not care about what his own people want, that he does not care what the world thinks about his flirtation with nuclear weapons, and that he does not care about the death and destruction he will bring to his people because of his delusional existence. Aminijob and his ayatollahs are going to learn a very harsh lesson because of the path they have chosen.

Tony Blankley is a blank dud. I hope S.P. runs for Prez and is nominated. I think she could net about 30% of the popular vote at most. Rethugs are toast whether it's of the male or pit bull variety. God, the M.S.M. sucks big time.

I don't think Sarah Palin is the sharpest knife in the drawer by any means. But it gets old hearing that same old line about "seeing Russia from my house". Sarah Palin NEVER said that. Tina Fey did. SP said you can see Russia from parts of Alaska. I guess if something gets repeated enough people will believe it.

You know, it's not easy to keep defending Palin, she picked a fight she can not win.

Panlin is using this for political divide I am a woman but not a stupid woman....Palin is even in my view using her own children and this joke..for self interest...stupid thing Letterman said and wrong..but he and thousands of others on tv radio do from worst look at Rush etc etc?

Myabe these picture tell you more about Iran's election .
We all expected Mussavi to win and defeat Ahamdinejad , but you have forgot that Ahamdinejad has much more followers in small ctities and village around Iran which they are much more then people in Tehran .
Remember that 58 million people voted . That is more then our lection in 2004 ( I guess) .
So here it is the link to this picture . intresting thing is the a couple came between their marraige cermony and voted !!
So you really believe or want to believe the hype and propaganda from Iran about the support of Ahmadinejad?
Why all of a sudden are you so eager to accept this election from inside an oppressive nation and governament when if it were Cuba, the old USSR the new Russia etc you would be so eager to dismiss the results?
So telling....................
vgirl1: So you really believe or want to believe the hype
The fact that Palin finds it necessary to acknowledge the Letterman joke shows how fit she is to be in political office. Imagine if President Obama wasted his time addressing all the negative comments toward him.
EasyZee: The fact that Palin finds it necessary to acknowledge the
Indeed. When Rush Limbaugh called then-13-year-old Chelsea Clinton the "White House dog," the Clintons ignored him in favor of protecting their daughter, who turned out wonderfully well: no underage drinking charges, no out-of-wedlock babies, no other scandals. Though David Shuster of MSNBC claimed Hillary "pimped out" fully adult Chelsea during the campaign, the fact is, she was an ADULT. However, during last year's campaign, that could not be said of ANY of Palin's children, whom she relentlessly "pimped out" as campaign props. Now she is claiming huffiness that her daughter (Bristol, not Willow, the unwed mother advocating abstinence, which failed to work in her case; some endorsement!) is criticized. Well, sorry, Sarah, but you have to take the criticism with the praise.
Pennsylvanianne: Indeed. When Rush Limbaugh called then-13-year-old Chelsea Clinton the "White
Interesting. I wonder if Tony was referring to my article entitled "Where Is the Outrage by Feminists on Letterman's Sexist Remarks About Palin? or Amy Siskind's "Sexism Against Conservative Women is Still Sexism"? We were of one mind when we wrote our pieces. I was glad to see NOW come out against what Letterman said and put him in their Hall of Shame.
JDowlin1: Interesting. I wonder if Tony was referring to my article
Did NOW come out for the abuse Michelle Obama suffered for being a strong black woman? You know where the white GOP men were vilifying her. Just asking. For all I know that merited the Hall of Shame. I might have missed the comment.
Or not.
Freesia2: Did NOW come out for the abuse Michelle Obama suffered
Where was NOW and all these hyprocrital women when someone on Faux Noise referrenced Michelle Obama "as not pretty, she's a bitch" who are now expressing anger and disapproval at David Letterman remarks referrencing Bristol Palin, the unwed teenage mother who's running around preaching her 'abstinence' bs because her dud of a mother, Sarah Palin, has forced her to do so.

I cannot believe that anybody takes Palin seriously as a presidential candidate.
She has never demonstrated the slightest bit of skill and intelligence that would even hint that she could do the job.
She is an ideologue.
Which is what we just got rid of (Bush).
Meaning--instead of analyzing complex issues and developing appropriately complex solutions, she would simply jam the issue into her ideology and grind out the predictable "solution."
We just endured 8 years with an inept and intellectually unengaged president.
Why? Why? Palin?

compare the pictures of the iranian elections on CNN with those here on Huffpo... notice anything?
CNN was clearly very selective of the kinds of images they show to fit within the iranian stereotype (no women in jeans with their hair showing, no young men with tight t-shirts and mohawks, etc...)
just an observation.
