"New Hampshire voters are typically..."
I wonder just who and how many of the in-crowd actually don't know/believe how rigged the vote tallying is.
Arianna appeared on Charlie Rose last night to discuss the results out of New Hampshire:

THOSE WHO ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE MEDIA I HOPE YOU WERE DOING THE SAME WHEN TRHIS SAME MEDIA WERE TELLING US WE HAD NO CHOICE EXCEPT TO VOTE FOR HILLARY. I REMEMBER A COUPLE OF TIMES THAT THE RACE WAS HERS TO LOSE. AND THE SAME ABOUT RUDY. I DID. AND I AM DETERMINED TO NOT LET THE MEDIA DECIDE MY VOTE.
Yes, Sara's on target, just follow the money. Where does Obama get all of this money to outspend everyone? As far as I knwo he's not personally wealthy like Romney, he's pretty new to politics so he hasn't been fundraising for the past thirty years like Hillary and he said he just finished paying off his student loans five years ago. Okay, somebody's funding this guy bigtime and because the media is almost a monopoly now with a couple of corporations owning it all, not to mention Murdoch, and because they've made him into a God(god)and you can't turn on a show anywhere without his face everywhere I assume he's just what the Repubs need to deny the Dems in November a victory.
I love how towards the end they advise Edwards that he should drop out, because he's hurting the country by draining votes from one of the 2 favorites. Less than 0.5% of voters had a say so far, but already they want us to believe there are only 2 candidates left.
Disgusting.
Unfortunately, Ms. Huffington continues to denigrate Clinton, including on the website by choosing anti-Clinton language and less than flattering photos v. warmer photos of BO. Ms. H's pro-Obama bias is so obvious; note how she describes the HC victory in a dismissive way while calling Obama's loss in NH as a victory, but as Al Hunt reminded her, a victory (HC) is still better than a loss (BO). I realize this is Ms. H's website and blog so she does not have to be politcally unbiased in her beliefs, but intellectual honesty is still desirable. (I have not decided who I would vote for- preferring Edwards now that Biden is gone, but, as with how people perceive John McCain, straight talk and straight dealing go further than pretense, so BO's stated disdain for special interests all the while his advisors are from K Street, reminds me that he would be no more a fresh start for the country than anyone else.)
I watched a video on Youtube about Bill Clinton meeting with George W. Bush in the middle 80's. In Missouri. Now, what kind of questions should be asked about that meeting. There is a lady that eyewitnessed the account. And wrote a book in the early 90's about the meeting with both of them. I got to watch part 1 of the video. Very disturbing to say the least.
Why should I NOT believe that the New Hampshires poll were right? And the vote counting wrong?
What every American should demand? The names of all vote counters. Their occupation, affliation to political party, and their personal background. There are law abiding Americans out there. NOW is the time. Times too short for our democracy. The doors are closing.
You see, we can change. And when we change, the country will change. And, when the country changes, the world will change. And then, things will change. Yes, we can. We can change. Because you are the important thing. And you want change. And change is what you will have when I am President; because, you want change.
And, I, your feckless media, want you to want the change that a good looking celebrity offers you. Because, you see,
Fame is all that is important. Fame, and sizzle. Whether it is Brittney, or Brad, or whomever. When it sizzles, people will pay attention.
And, when the teenage crush wears off, then, we can all move on.
You see, that is change.
I have been following this primary with interest. In my opinion, Charlie's guests like all mainstream media had been promoting Obama and torpedoing Hillary. It's a shame that mass media continues to wield it's influence in such a manner without using the opportunity to get to the heart of matter. For instance, Obama proposes to "unify" the U.S. I, personally, don't see how this is going to happen. Why doesn't someone ask him HOW? This is a monumental task when most Americans doesn't even have a clue about who they are, what other people and cultures are about, and what this country stands for anymore.
I am a Chinese American, and I can tell you that most Americans haven't any idea what that means in a historical and current context. Furthermore, we continue to treat the people of Palestine like pond scum, back the actions of the Israel government even though they have and continue to break their word to us and the Arab world with impunity, and we demonstrate our contempt of the Middle East and their beliefs consistently. On a national and international level we continue to say one thing and do another. What politician has addressed the disparity between the social and racial divide that cripples our nation, here and around the world?
I'll be frank. White America will not elect a black president. I think mainstream media is aware of this and purposely is promoting Obama so that the Republicans have a better chance of regaining the White House. This would be a catastrophe in my opinion. Think about the performance of the media, and who controls it. Are we that stupid?
I may not think Hillary is perfect, but she has a chance at becoming president. I don't even want to think about the next 4 years with a Republican in office especially when Iraq needs our help to rebuild it's infrastructure. We need people with integrity to help them get on their feet since we screwed their country up so badly. Let's not continue to make the same mistakes.
Obama may have been second here, but he outpolled all the GOP suits!
So much for political punditry! HAHA! I knew Hillary had a much better chance in the Granite State. Yankees don't buy into alot of hopeful words with no substance behind them. Yankees are realists. They are also not strongly republican like Iowa is. The fact that they voted for McCain proves this, because there are those on the right that call McCain a liberal. Why, I don't know, but they do. I've seen it here in the comments many times.
