HuffPost's Howard Fineman appeared on MSNBC's "Hardball" Monday evening, shortly before President Barack Obama announced a compromise on the Bush-era tax cuts, to discuss the deal as outlined.
"One of the things that's missing -- and it may sound trivial, but it's not -- is the music here, the marching music," Fineman told host Chris Matthews. "And that's what the Democrats don't hear."
