Huffington Post reporter Sam Stein joined GOP strategist John Feehery as guests on The Ed Show on Tuesday.
Ed Schultz asked about recent comments by Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai that the United States could be there for another 15 to 20 years, despite a July 2011 deadline recently announced by President Obama.
"We're really throwing a hail Mary here to expect the Karzai government to be up and ready and running and securing the country by 2011," Stein observed.
The trio also discussed health care reform, including plans to extend Medicare to recipients 55-years and older, GOP flip-flopping, and the AFL-CIO taking a stand on the public option.
