HuffPost's Sam Stein joined USA Today's Susan Page Thursday on "Hardball" to discuss Sarah Palin and her possible bid for president in 2012, along with pushback from people like Karl Rove.

"I does sound sort of like she's a go," Stein told host Chris Matthews. "It sounds like the Fred Thompson angle, where she's going to wait it out, let people duke it out, and swoop in there with her sort of chrystalized 25 to 35 percent of support of the Republican base, and try to wrestle the nomination for herself."
