RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Two companies are planning new operations in Virginia that will create a total 168 jobs.

Dominion Packaging plans to invest $45 million to open a second manufacturing operation in Henrico County. The company also has a manufacturing operation in Richmond.

Classic Creations LLC plans to invest $1.4 million to open a commercial screen printing operation in Carroll County.

Gov. Bob McDonnell announced both projects Tuesday.

McDonnell says in a news release that Dominion Packaging's operation will created 113 jobs. Classic Creations' operation will create 55 jobs.

Dominion Packaging also will move its headquarters to Henrico.

McDonnell approved a $300,000 performance-based grant from the Virginia Investment Partnership program for Dominion Packaging's project.

The Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission approved $175,000 in Tobacco Region Opportunity Funds for Classic Creations' project.
