"I intend to practice self-love and acceptance today" | Support Lorena's Intent

When you look into the mirror what do you see? Most of us just see our flaws: "I'm too fat," "I hate my hair," "I have funny teeth." We are our biggest critics. On one hand, while we should always seek to improve ourselves each day -- be better parents, better neighbors, better friends and better human beings -- we should also appreciate all of our good qualities.

We should look into the mirror and see our beauty instead of the flaws. We should give ourselves a hand of applause when accomplish something. We should pat ourselves on the back when we do something good. We should start loving ourselves.

So starting today, look into the mirror and say something nice to yourself each day. Practice self-love and acceptance.
