UK Style by French Connection Launch Party

Last night, at the brand new venue Lexington Social House in Hollywood, I was on hand for the launch of the new clothing line UK Style by French Connection. It was a celebrity studded event, many of whom were wearing clothing from the line. UK Style by French Connection is available online and at Sears. Yes, that's right, Sears. I picture little old ladies with sensible shoes and grey bubble haircuts when I think of Sears clothing but that is all changing.

British supermodel Agyness Deyn flew in for the event and was wearing a top from the collection. She was very nice, down to earth with gorgeous glowing skin. I told her that I used to model when I was young but liked to eat too much to keep it going. She laughed and said that she eats very healthy and really hasn't had an issue with her weight. Lucky her. She is branching out into acting and other creative pursuits. It's not everyday a gal gets to pose with a supermodel.

Brooke Burke and Carmen Electra were both there wearing the same dress from the collection. Carmen added a belt to hers. Brooke chose black hose and very tall platform pumps. The dress is super cute and looked equally good on both of them. I loved that these gorgeous women were rocking inexpensive clothes.

Nicky Hilton and Jaime King were both wearing the same cheetah sequin dress from the collection. No one had to go home though as they both put their own spin on the dress. Nicky went with the belt and Jaime with the black scarf. Both of these beauties are very tall.

Other celebrities in attendance included: Mario Lopez and his wife, Mena Suvari, Nikki Reed, Guiliana Rancic with her husband Bill, and Louise Roe (among others).

Just for fun, you could pose on the throne, for that UK queenly vibe, with a crown and a scepter. I highly recommend that. Queen for a moment.

Cute inexpensive clothes, the first event ever at the brand new venue Lexington Social House, celebrities and a photo op on a throne. A great time was had by all!
