DES MOINES, IA -- I just caught up with Tim Russert, moderator of NBC's Meet The Press, at the Polk County Convention Complex here. Tomorrow Iowans will caucus for president - but in the past two elections only 6-7% of eligible voters have participated. What's more, the caucuses have never been accused of being the most convenient way of casting a vote - as noted recently here on HuffPost. I asked Russert why he thinks more candidates aren't talking about election reform.

Why Tuesday? is an effort to make America's democracy stronger through increased voter participation. Read more Iowa campaign coverage from OffTheBus by clicking here.
