One of my ongoing passions and ongoing frustrations is that within a party that will pour tens of millions of dollars into Presidential Coffers (I get sick at just thinking how much will end up in talking head tv spots,) we still haven't learned the value of supporting outstanding bloggers who bring so much to the discussion and to our country.

When the convictions against Scooter Libby came down, we owed a hat tip to FireDogLake and Marcy Wheeler.

When the Senate vote shifted and a supplemental bill was sent to President Bush with a withdrawal, it was, in part, due to the efforts of thousands of folks online.

Every day, here on Huffington Post, we are treated to great writing, thinking and commentary from bloggers such as Taylor Marsh, Bob Geiger and more.

Two such bloggers, Chris Bowers and Matt Stoller, are trying to raise $10,000 on their blog for trivial things, like internet access. Chris and Matt are smart, passionate and critical to our success. Last month at a fundraiser for YearlyKos in New York City, I heard many many folks talking about how smart Chris was. Huffington Post readers will be well familiar with Matt's passionate and provocative posts here.

Here's the best part - they won't push you for $2,300 checks or $4,600 - you will eat no rubber chicken. There are many many more like Chris and Matt out there who need help, but today's their day - will you help?
