I'm not sure you're aware of the historical significance here. Should Mitt Romney become president, it would mean the American people have voted a white man into the highest elected office in the nation for the first time in four years.

It's hard not to get a little choked up by this barrier-shattering possibility. When you look back on where we've been since 2008, it is difficult to believe that an ordinary wealthy white man could even get on people's radar, let alone go the whole nine yards and become President of the United States! A white president? I mean, there's been no precedent for it! (LOL.)

Who would have thought that a Caucasian male could ever hope to break the bonds of oppression that have been in place for 1,460 long days? Certainly, it was too much for many folks to hope, especially those who have had to spend the last 35,000 hours inventing policy-based reasons as to why they have not been happy with the current administration.

So no matter which side of the aisle you're on, take a step back and look at what Mitt Romney might represent for our country. A white man holding the office of president for the first time in 2,100,000 minutes. We are so out in front on this.
