With Waking Sleeping Beauty currently playing in a limited release at movie theaters around the country, interest in a behind-the-scenes look at Disney animation is high. The documentary is both entertaining and educational, as it depicts the business side of studio production and how not everyone working at Disney spends their days whistling while they work.

Pixar, one of Disney's animation arms, gets a brief mention in Waking Sleeping Beauty, but honestly, the future of Walt's empire, at least movie wise, lies in the computer generated world, or so the recent lackluster performance of The Princess and the Frog, Disney's return to hand-drawn animation, proved.

Now, online viewers have a chance to hear about some fun behind-the-scenes stories from Pixar, but not via talking heads, rather through a series of YouTube animated videos, each telling a different story about Pixar's process.

The Movie Vanishes, Toy Story 2 Sleep Deprivation and Pinocchio are three animated shorts that hit the web earlier this week. Enjoy.
