Yes, that pounding in your head that just won't stop is the sound of political tv advertising, meant to confuse and nauseate you, and turn you off to voting yes to change, and to voting at all.

A recent report by the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California shows why special interests that want to preserve the status quo like it that way. If nonvoters went to the polls, the institute found, they would favor a more activist government, big reforms, and social reformers.

Consultant Bill Hillsman, who engineered the victories of Jesse Ventura, Paul Wellstone, and Ned Lamont in the primary, finally has a television ad for a proposition that will change all that and bring voters back to the ballot box. First in California, by passing campaign finance overhaul Prop 89, then in America, which is sure to replicate the reform if it succeeds.

Watch Hillsman's "Pounder" Ad and turn the table on the special interests that want to obliterate your will to vote.
