This week Arnold Schwarzenegger insisted to the San Francisco Chronicle editorial board that he never said he would reject special interest contributions and the he is not beholden to the special interests. Schwarenegger is the ultimate marketer and he knows the first rule of marketing is to boldy make the least credible, least verifiable claim, kinda like "Choosy moms pick Jiff peanut butter." (How could you ever disprove that?)
