Calvin Klein Billboard - Unbuttoned, Unzipped and Inescapable.

People are saying that Calvin Klein's new billboard in Soho is borderline pornography; others say that at the very least it's inappropriate. Perhaps they are right. Has Calvin crossed the line?

Have you been to see the Calvin Klein billboard displayed on Lafayette and Houston Streets in SoHo (NYC) yet? One thing I know for sure -- it's inescapable!

Unbuttoned, unzipped -- it features a topless young woman, a bare-chested boy and another shirtless male. The models are positioned in what appears to be a threesome, and the imagery implies that a foursome is imminent.

People are saying that it's borderline pornography, others say that at the very least it's inappropriate. Some New Yorkers think that Calvin Klein has taken it too far. And perhaps they are right. Has Calvin crossed the line?

For me, the advertisement brought up other issues. Possible pornography aside, this advertisement not only says that our bodies have to be perfectly air-brushed, and that we're old at 30, never mind 50, but in addition, it seems that in order to be sexy, you've got to be in bed with at least two other people, preferably three.

It took me a minute or two to find center and come back to being absolutely fine with my body, my age, and my monogamous lifestyle. I don't think I have the energy for three.

And you, how does the advertisement 'hit' you? Horrified or envious?
