Yesterday, Little, Brown announced the title of their long-awaited crime imprint, to be known as Mulholland Books. Named after Los Angeles's infamous Mulholland Drive, a Little, Brown promotional video says Mulholland's, "...hairpin turns, sharp cliff faces and breathtaking views of Los Angeles are shrouded in secrecy and imbued with drama."
Pretty appropriate for a crime imprint, right? Well, that got me thinking...what would be some highly inappropriate names for book imprints? That inspired me to create the Twitter hashtag #badnamesforbookimprints (i.e. 'Port Authority Press').
Collected here are some of the best #badnamesforbookimprints suggested by fellow Twitterers. Any Bad Names for Book Imprint suggestions of your own?
