We recently had the privilege to interview William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer, the co-authors of The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind. When Kamkwamba was a 14 year old growing up in Malawi, he spent much of his time in salvage yards, using what most people would consider "junk" to create a windmill that would eventually power much of his village.

Kamkwamba had no physics education and was unable to read many of the textbooks he found. His perseverence in building a windmill completely out of scrap metal, tractor parts and other discarded items is truly inspirational.

Watch our interview with this amazing young man and his co-author!
