It's not enough John McCain wants to continue George W. Bush's policies, now Hillary does, too. Specifically, the policy of threatening other countries with destruction if they look at us wrong. If we wanted Bush again he wouldn't have a 28% approval rating. Don't they read the papers?
Here's the quote from The Guardian:
I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran (if it attacks Israel).
...In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them. That's a terrible thing to say but those people who run Iran need to understand that because that perhaps will deter them from doing something that would be reckless, foolish and tragic.
I know these poor saps don't have an easy job, having to talk twenty-four/seven with everyone listening all the time, but they're supposed to be pros. For some reason it makes me picture her, kind of worn out, a little slap-happy, finding a pill on the floor of an AARP meeting and, for some reason even she herself couldn't explain, picking it up and eating it.

Ms. Clinton said she would create an umbrella of US protection for nations in the MIddle East concerned with the danger of Iran. Yes, that does include Israel, as it should.
Slap-happy, my dying ass. My jaw hit the floor when I heard Senator Clinton embrace the neo-con liberal expansionist policies of the Bushies during last Wednesday's debate, and it stayed on the floor when she expounded on her proposal to nuke any nation in the Middle East that fails to toe the line she has drawn in the sand. And now that the MSM has failed to follow up on this radical right turn with any questions or analysis I submit this for your consideration: Wednesday, Senator Clinton declares herself a born-again neo-con. Sunday, she receives the endorsement of Richard Mellon Scaife, the Dark Lord of the neo-cons and the source of her famous "vast right wing conspiracy" statement. Let's face it, people! Senator Clinton is a REPUBLICAN!
Which is exactly what many of us Obama supporters have been saying for sometime, and why I pity the next fool who insinuates that Obama and CLinton are somehow similar in their political objectives
or that a prospective Clinton Presidency is somehow conducive to improving our image in the global community.
No. Hillary is suggesting a way to limit the spread of nuclear weapons. In essence, what she is suggesting is the logical next step toward universal disarmament. Also, she is taking advantage of this moment, of this campaign, to actually propose solutions to our very serious problems. This is a great evening for her, and for America.
Killing is a solution? Threatening death and destruction is a good day for America?
Thank you so much for the hilarious post trevor01!
This primary season has gone on so insipidly long that I suppose
the rest of us should really try to garner our senses of humor-- like you have . . . . . .
Holy fuck! That Hillary Kool-Aid must be seriously spiked!
"Universal disarmament??" What she is suggesting is return to the Nuclear Deterrance/ Mutually Assured Destruction of the past that used to exist between the USSR and the US, only now She (and GWB) are proposing we sacrifice two third party contries (Israel and Iran) for our bellicose policies.
