Congress Plays Hardball for Charity: Photo Highlights From the 50th Congressional Baseball Game

Posted: Updated:

Politicians played hardball, this time for charity. The 50th Annual Congressional Baseball Game took place on July 14, 2011 at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. Congressional Democrats won handily, 8-2, behind a fifteen-hit attack and a one-hitter from pitcher Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA). Ticket proceeds from this year's game raised money for The Washington Literacy Council and The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington. (All photos by Jeff Malet / www.maletphoto.com)
