Interview with America's Top Model Winner, Krista White! (LISTEN)

After trying and failing to be on the show season after season, last night's America's Top Model winner, Krista White almost gave up but something told her to keep on going. So, she did and now 14 cycles later she has won and will be managed by Wilhelmina Models and landed a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl.

In today's interview, Krista told me how she went from a retail manager from Pine Bluff, Arkansas to winner and her advice to aspiring models.

I don’t know about deserving to be the winner of ANTM cycle 14, but I just didn’t see what everyone must have seen in her. She is not “drop-dead gorgeous” nor did she have a personality. I thought Raina was the better choice. I really did find the judges comments about Raina not having “international exposure” or would go far internationally was quite distasteful, after all this contest is “America’s Next Top Model” not “International Next Top Model”. Raina is beautiful and has a personality to boot! I was very disappointed with the choice this season......I felt it was a waste of time to watch......

Krista tried every single season to become a contestant and with determination she made it and WON! Everyone is allowed their own opinion however I feel that Krista was the better choice because she wanted it, it was her dream and she made it come true. She will definitely be a supermodel someday soon. She's proving to the world that you don't have to look like the "typical" person to become a model. She played the game fair and square just like everyone else did. YOU GO KRISTA...I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!

Lucie, do you really think that she didn't deserve it? Why did you feel Raina would have made a better choice?
